Your tasks and responsibilities

• Build, lead, manage and develop the Digital Solutions Technology and Software Development team within Radiology Digital Solutions group
• Be fully responsible for the overall development and delivery of the Radiology Digital Solutions
• Be responsible for Bayer new platform delivering centralized access to digital and AI applications throughout medical imaging workflow
• Be responsible for radiometrics and future developments
• Be responsible for actionable data from Bayer Radiology Data Lake
• Ensure the team operates within Bayer Radiology Software as a Medical Device development and maintenance standards
• Ensure the robust culture of quality and agile principle and continuously develop the team toward these principles
• Coordinate and create work synergies with across diverse Digital Solutions development sub-teams
• Develop and deliver a strategic technological vision and direction
• Implement mechanisms to monitor, manage and provide progress on all software development activities
• Create, implement and maintain a continuous improvement plan for software development and Information Technology (IT) infrastructure

Who you are

• Master's in Computer Sciences or equivalent technology discipline with at least 10 years of relevant medical imaging or healthcare SAAS and AI regulated software development team leadership experience
• Strong Business Management fundamentals
• Proven experience in building and scaling international multi-site software development teams
• Excellent leadership and motivational skills and ability to quickly build up and sustain internal and external networks
• Deep understanding of data governance and compliance, and regulations in the environment of digital research and product development, especially with the use and handling of patient data
• Demonstrated experience in implementing Agile software development methodology
• Demonstrated experienced in building cloud-based software or platform based regulated solutions
• Deep understanding on relevant regulations for the development of software as medical devices, especially ISO13485

• Drive efficiency by being accountable, lean, fast and courageous and empowering others.
• Preferred Qualifications:
• Specialized executive education OR M.B.A. OR Ph.D. in relevant technical area
• Extensive knowledge on radiology workflows and its technological components and standards, such as PACS, RIS, DICOM, FHIR
